Cocoa Beach, Florida Fishing Charters FAQs

What should I bring?

We will supply everything you need for fishing including fishing licenses, gear, tackle, and ice. We will also clean the fish for you.

We suggest your bring drinks, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, fishing clothes, hats, boat shoes, beach and hand towels, and sunglasses.

Should I tip the Captain?

It’s customary to tip the crew, just like in most service industries. If you feel like they did a great job, please show your appreciation with a tip.

What's the maximum number of people that can go on a trip?

The max number of people is six. This isn’t our rule, but the U.S. Coast Guards license for private charters. If you have more than six people, it would require a second boat.

How far is Cocoa Beach from Orlando?

Cocoa Beach is a short 45 minute drive from the Orlando International Airport. We offer a number of charters all day long, so we can make something work for you!

Can we bring the kids fishing?

We specialize in taking groups out with kids and love seeing the excitement on their faces! We have special, 3 hour harbor trips that have calm seas and great opportunities for the kids to catch fish. Kids must be 2 years or older. For small children, we request you bring a certified life jacket.

Are we guaranteed to catch fish?

While we normally catch a good amount of fish, we can’t make it a guarantee. That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching! We do vow to do everything in our power to put you on the fish and ensure that you have a fantastic experience.

Is the price of the charter for one person or the whole group?

Pricing is based on the cost of the whole boat. In our case, that is up to six anglers. It will only be your group, that Captain and perhaps a deck hand.
